- Mythos & Meaning - Deadline: 1st November, 2026
- You are cordially invited to participate in a qualitative research study that aims to explore the collective human consciousness associated with creatures and entities of myth & folklore. Using epistolary format, you are asked to provide narratives represented by written accounts – i.e., documents, letters, emails, text messages, etc. Your story will need to demonstrate the lived experience of the respective narrator, drawing upon the psychological and visceral effects of exposure to the chosen entity or creature, and the impact on those around them, including cultural meaning and existential purpose.
- Art is Horror - Deadline: 15th November, 2026
- Horror in art has historically served as a reflection of societal fears and anxieties evolving from medieval depictions of hell and plague to modern surrealism and psychological dread. Art in fiction has evoked the dangers of obsession with superficial aesthetics at the expense of life and soul. Art is never harmless decoration. This anthology will remind us that while art can preserve beauty, it can also trap, distort, or devour.
