The Dangerous Journey was originally published in 1977. It tells the story of Susanna, who finds a pair of magic spectacles that transport her from the field in which she is reading to an adventure filled with swamps, volcanoes, dried-up oceans and jungles. The young girl’s friends from Moominvalley, including Sniff, Snufkin, TooTicky and Moomin, all help her on her journey to get back home.
