Maja Lindberg is a highly experienced Swedish illustrator. Her studio is located in Lomma, a small village by the sea in the south of Sweden. Maja started her career as a ceramicist, but after a short stopover in web design she ended up working as an illustrator. Her published works include eight children’s books. Maja creates beautiful and visually engaging illustrations which often hold some mystery, inspired by fairy tales, dreams and childhood memories. Maja describes her work as colourful with a hint of dark in it, often a little melancholic with a dreamy touch.
